How to Apply

The Administrative Professional Certificate is a 35-week program preparing you for immediate employment in a constantly changing environment. You will obtain the knowledge and skills required to gain employment in administrative support positions. The last component of the program is a three-week practicum placement aimed at providing on-the-job training, furthering your employment opportunities.

Admission Requirements

  • 70% in Grade 12 or Post-Secondary Studies with minimum 50% in each subject
  • IELTS 6.0 overall with 1 band 5.5/TOEFL 80 /PTE 58
  • OR
  • 60% in Grade 12 or Post-Secondary Studies with minimum 50% in each subject
  • IELTS 6.5 overall with 1 band 5.5 or 6 in each module/ TOEFL 85 /PTE 63

Employment opportunities are not limited to private businesses. The Alberta government, colleges, municipalities, settlement and band offices have all hired Administrative Professional graduates. Possible job opportunities are:
